About
Hotel Everest is a 2-star property on the third floor of Via Cavour 47, a busy Rome street within 500 metres of Roma Termini. It makes no grand claims: rooms are compact and straightforward, with private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, mini-bars and air conditioning. Guests consistently describe the housekeeping as spotless, with linen changed every three days or when required.
The hotel's real asset is the reception team, who come up again and again in reviews for help with maps, directions, restaurant suggestions and the occasional crisis. Staff score 9.5/10 in the guest ratings, and the value score sits at 8.5. The practical extras — Wi-Fi throughout, safe deposit boxes, express check-in/out and a lift — keep the experience easy for a short Rome stay.

8.6Verified guest“The staff were excellent, always smiley and happy to help, and gave me all the information I needed for sightseeing. The room was on the small side but spotless and pleasantly scented, with Wi-Fi that worked in the room. The location was very good, within walking distance of the centre, and the immediate area felt safer than around the main station, which was only a few streets away. A great place for a Rome holiday.”
8.6Verified guest“The location was marvellous and very convenient for public transport.”
8.6Verified guest“After I had money and cards stolen in Rome, Mr Yogesh and his reception colleague were especially kind and supportive, so I want to thank them. I would recommend this comfortable hotel to anyone visiting Rome, for any reason; it is a few minutes' walk from Termini and close enough to the Colosseum on foot. One piece of advice for Rome in general: stay alert, as the city has its share of pickpockets. That is nothing to do with the hotel.”
8.6Verified guest“A one-night stay; the room was excellent value and the beds were comfortable.”
8.6Verified guest“Perfectly placed near Termini, very clean, with kind staff and a warm atmosphere. I was glad I booked Hotel Everest.”
8.6Verified guest“The location near Termini was great. The room was small and basic but clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For budget travellers, this is a very good choice.”
